Impressive large double hemisphere with the title in ribbon form, a large sun with clouds across the top of the map, and a decorative advertisement cartouche at bottom. The map shows well formed continents with the latest discoveries. The routes of the major explorers are traced, including several landfalls in Antarctica.

Repair of several small tears and expert paper replacement at left with a bit of facsimile of neatlines.
