Superb and fascinating double hemisphere map of the surface of the moon. The dark side is filled with imaginary topography, using place names from the Mediterranean world. The map is decorated at top with cherubs using a telescope, diagrams of the phases of the moon, and Diana, the lady of the moon. Latin text panels at bottom.
