Splendid example of Blaeu's copper engraving from his atlas devoted to Scotland. Covers the region just southwest of Glasgow including Loch of Kilbyrne and Irrwin. Map is covered with topographical detail, forests and castles. It is decorated with three decorative cartouches including a dedication with a beautiful coat of arms in full color.
Minor spot of errant color, else very fine. Minor damp stain in margins, map very clean and crisp.
