This map of the United States was part of a series of maps by Achille Patitucci of the countries within the Americas. Geographic detail is limited, with states delineated and their capitals noted, and only major rivers and mountain ranges shown. Insets in the bottom corners extend the map to include Alaska and give statistics on the size in area and population of the United States and major US cities. Other insets show the types of crops, livestock, minerals, and industries that can be found in the US. A large vignette of the Statue of Liberty fills the Atlantic Ocean. Published inCorriere dei Piccoli, the first weekly comic magazine in Italy, published from 1908 to 1995.
