This superb and uncommon engraving depicts the discovery of Moses (Exodus 1:15) in the River Nile by the daughter of Pharaoh. Drawn by Marten de Vos and engraved by Visscher.

Condition: B+

A sharp impression on a bright sheet with manuscript red-lining around the engraving and narrow side margins, as issued. There are some tiny tears along the edges of the sheet.
