An interesting folio sheet containing five city plan/views and five vignettes showing the costumes of the people of Armenia and Georgia. The views are of Trabzon, Tokat, Yerevan, Kirs, and Tiflis (T'Bilisi). French text describes the region and people. Condition: Light soiling with a couple of extraneous creases and centerfold separations at top and bottom that have been closed on verso. (B+)

B. Mariage des Turcs & des Armeniens avec la Maniere dont se Font les Demonstrations d'Amour en ce Pays la & l'Usage Pratique par les Femmes Turcques pour Prendre le Bain & pour Fumer, (16.8 x 14.6"). This sheet includes five engravings with descriptive text relating to love and marriage between people of Armenia and Georgia. Included are a marriage ceremony, a woman smoking, a woman after a bath, and a man proving his love to a woman by cutting his arm to make it bleed. Condition: A few spots of foxing in the blank margins. (A)
