This scarce map of the eastern hemisphere extends from Greenland southeast to Australia, including all of Europe, Africa and Asia. Of particular interest is the depiction of Australia, which shows New Guinea attached to its northern coastline. Additionally, Tasmania is not shown, though the southern coast of Australia extends off the map. There is good detail of the various coastlines and the numerous islands comprising the East Indies. Interior detail includes rivers, lakes, some place names, and limited topography. Engraved by Lattre.
