These two engravings appeared in Atlas Methodique et Elementaire de Geographie et d'Histoire, published by Louis Charles Desnos. The first sheet features six images representing the six days that it took for God to create the earth and heavens. The second sheet presents an elaborate scene of the formation of the universe. The decorative borders for each sheet were printed from a separated plate, making this a very expensive production for the publisher.

A. Creation du Monde, Suivant Moyse. Condition: On watermarked paper with minor soiling, a small abrasion at upper right, and a repaired centerfold separation at bottom that extends 3.5" into the image. (B+)
B. Le Cahos, ou la Formation de l'Univers. Condition: A crisp engraving on a clean sheet of watermarked paper. A few short tears along the left sheet edge have been repaired on verso with archival tape. (A)
