A complete folio atlas containing 34 single-page maps. The maps consist of world (2), Europe (17), Asia (4), Africa (3), Americas (5), and Australia (3). While most of the western boundaries are settled in the United States map, Dakota is still a single, large territory. Includes a double hemispheric map of the world with a comparative view of mountains and rivers above and below the spheres. Also features a nice map of New Zealand showing good detail of all three islands. Includes a 36 page index. Published in both Edinburgh and London. Rebound in black quarter faux leather over black pebbled boards.

Condition: A

Pleasant light toning with occasional minor soiling mostly in the blank margins. A few maps have edge tears confined to the blank margins. Rebound with original boards which have light wear and bumped edges.
