This map shows the region between the Black, Caspian, and Mediterranean Seas, extending as far as the Persian Gulf. The focus is on the Ottoman Empire divided by Beylerbey, which were similar to senior provincial governors. A legend at bottom left identifies towns of various sizes. Alternate French title at top: "Carte de la Turquie Asiatique Contenant la Natolie Moderne Divisee en ses Beglerbeys."
