This map shows the region under the influence of the Patriarch of Constantinople and extends to include the Black Sea and part of Greece. It is filled with ancient place names and regions and is adorned with a strapwork cartouche featuring disembodied putti.

Condition: A
A sharp impression with contemporary outline color in the map and later color in the cartouche, on a bright sheet with a large coat of arms watermark. There are two small worm holes in the image at bottom and a hint of toning along the centerfold and edges of the sheet.
