This delightful bird's-eye plan of Broadway is intended for actors and theater-goers alike. It shows the area between Fifth Avenue and Ninth Avenue, from Columbus Circle to 39th Street, identifying all of the large and small theaters. Iconic venues such as Radio City Music Hall, the Broadway Theater, the Palace Theater, and the Winter Garden Theater are illustrated in three dimensional views. The historic 30 Rockefeller Plaza is also shown, labeled as the "world's largest office building" and with a note that "if you think your cartographer is going to draw in all the windows in this 70-story building you're crazy." The plan also captures all of the characters of New York, including commuters, policemen, sanitation workers, shoppers, shoe shiners, and even beggars and "bums." Created by Frank A. Eaton. This edition was published as the centerfold of The Stage and includes articles on verso.
