Published by Charles Nicoll in New York, this manual provides brief descriptions and financial overviews of companies in the railroad, industrial, and agricultural sectors. Within the 580 pages are 26 maps to augment the 270 page section on railroads including maps of the Baltimore & Ohio, Rock Island, and Northern Pacific railroads to name a few. The majority of the maps are double-page (approximately 10.5 x 7.7" sheets), along with 6 single-page and 4 folding maps. This special edition was compliments of W.B. Hibbs & Co. in Washington D.C., a banking and brokerage firm. 12mo, hardbound in red cloth with gilt title on front cover.
