A handsome map based on one included in Giulio Iasolino's book about Ischia and its beneficial thermal baths, published in 1568. There is charming pictorial topography throughout the map in addition to depictions of churches, towns and the locations of baths. Three large and decorative cartouches and a raging sea battle near the coast of Naples adorn the map. French text on verso, published in 1598.
