This miniature map of Scotland extends to the Outer Hebrides and depicts major towns, including Edinburgh and Newcastle, and key topographical features. Pierre Duval was Nicolas Sanson's nephew and pupil. He published a wide range of atlases and individual maps including a fine miniature world geography with many of the maps based on Sanson.

Original color with light offsetting, minor toning, and a few small damp stains along the edges of the sheet.
