An extensive legend explains each geological type. Very interesting vertical sections show in detail the various geological compositions beneath the surface at four locations: Northern Trans-Pecos, Southern Trans-Pecos, Llano Estacado, and Central and Coastal Plains. A handsome and scarce map of the state with fine coloring.
