This miniature map appeared in Atlas Minimus, a pocket atlas containing 52 maps, drawn and engraved by John Gibson, with revisions by Emmanuel Bowen, and published by John Newbery. This map includes minimal information due to its size, focusing on state boundaries, key rivers, and a few cities. The large note near the center of the map reads: "Pensilvania is a rich well peopled & cultivated province, producing grain & cattle of all kidns, timber, potashes, skins, furs, &c. Virginia & Maryland produce tobacco, which the former especially raised in such plenty, as to be able to furnish most parts of Europe with it."
