Complete illustrated world atlas containing eighty-two maps and diagrams with several interesting comparative charts, flags and coats of arms from various nations, and a bird's-eye view of the Holy Land. This atlas uses a licensed edition of Cram's maps with sheets attached to the atlas with a backstrap (uncommon for this late date). Includes fine, double-page maps of Texas and California. Filled with wood engravings in text. Very handsome graphics and embossing on cloth cover. Title, table of contents, text and maps, index. 250 pages.
The maps are very good to near fine with only occasional scattered foxing. The maps of New York, Pennsylvania and Europe are present but have separated from the text block. The binding is very good overall with bumped edges and the hinges are starting.
