This rare, tiny map was likely engraved by Gabriel Bodenehr. It depicts the region from Long Island to approximately Georgia with a tiny inset of Bermuda at lower right. The fictitious Lake May is noted just south of the Appalachians, and the Chesapeake Bay is shown a bit too wide. Locates Jamestown and N. Amsterdam. German text is below the map. This is the second state with V.c above the top border.
