Map of ancient Babylon covering a portion of today's Iraq, with Baghdad located in the top right corner of the sheet. The Euphrates River is prominently shown with several towns and villages along its banks. Includes numerous notations as well as the routes of Roman Emperor Julian and Cyrus. The vast Arabian desert occupying two-thirds of the sheet is filled with an elaborate title cartouche and four distance scales.
