This 48 page promotional brochure was issued by the Union Pacific System and touts the natural beauty of the region. The introduction states "it is a charmed land of scenic surprises and glories" and that "it is easy of access from nearly any part of the United States via Union Pacific System." Includes three full page maps at the end of the text showing the railroad network in the western United States, the Pacific Northwest, and Alaska respectively. The text is augmented by numerous photographic illustrations, including several full page, of the region's natural attractions. Bound in stiff green paper wrappers with gilt title and illustration on front cover.
