This handsome map depicts the regions of Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia in northwestern Germany, extending to show a portion of the Netherlands. Roads, cities, political boundaries, and the river system in the region are all well depicted. The map is embellished with a marine-themed title cartouche.
