This well-engraved plan of Boston extends to include Cambridge, Chelsea, Dorchester, and the islands of Deer, Gallops, Long, Castle, and Spectacle. It comes from Marshall's important and early history of the American Revolution. Roads, forts, powder magazines, batteries, and more are located. The map delineates the positions and movements of General Washington and his allies and the enemy troops during the Siege of Boston early on in the Revolutionary War. Engraved by J. Yeager.
