This detailed map of western and central Russia includes some of modern-day Belarus and Ukraine in the west and extends to the Black and Caspian seas in the south. The forests, mountains, and rivers in the region are prominently featured, including the Volga and Dnieper Rivers. Numerous place names are also depicted, from large, fortified cities to small towns. A decorative title cartouche adorns the map.
