A. Cornell's Intermediate Geography: Forming Part Second of a Systematic Series of School Geographies, 1867. Includes 19 maps including 2 double-page maps. This complete book is 95 pages and covers both historical and physical geography, along with various pupil lessons. There is nice detail of the states and territories, including large Arizona and Dakota territories. In the endpapers there is a supplemental sheet showing statistics from the 1860 census. Hardbound with pictorial paper over boards. Condition: Maps and text are generally good with some light toning and damp staining mostly confined to the edges of the sheet. The double-page map of the United States is loose with a tear at bottom extending into the Gulf of Mexico. Covers and spine are worn and rubbed. (B)

B. Cornell's Physical Geography: Accompanied with Nineteen Pages of Maps..., 1884. Includes 9 double-page maps and 2 single page maps. 104 pages covering physical geography with numerous woodcut illustrations interspersed within the text. Includes a six-page supplement on the state of Maryland. Condition: Faint toning with a few occasional spots. Covers are lightly worn and soiled. (B+)
