Each group of tables is followed by the related map, surrounded by additional text. Contents include title page with list of maps, list of subscribers (including the royalty), Plan of Mr. Le Sage's Maps, introduction, maps and tables. Hardbound, half calf with marbled boards and leather tips. Gilt title on front cover.

The maps and tables are generally good to very good with light toning, some scattered foxing, and occasional offsetting in the maps. Covers are heavily worn, the spine is rubbed, and the hinges are starting, but overall the atlas is sound and intact.
