This lovely map is based on one of the most famous 17th Century maps of the continent of Europe - Blaeu's Europa recens descripta. The map extends to include Iceland, the mythical island of Frisland, and the coast of Greenland. It is adorned with a decorative title cartouche, sailing ships and a sea monster.

Faint printer's creases alongside centerfold, and a few spots of printer's ink residue.
