Very handsome, German edition of Bellin's large-scale chart of the island. Its meticulous topographical and nautical detail shows roads, topography, soundings, villages, windmills, and plantations. Rhumb lines, a compass rose and two delicate cartouches complete the composition.

The centerfold has been reinforced with tissue on verso. There is some light soil and a repaired tear in the blank margins.
