This uncommon Tallis map carries the imprint "The London Printing and Publishing Company" and is without the vignettes traditionally included on his maps. It has good detail along the coastlines that contrasts dramatically with the complete lack of detail in the interior. This edition names only four states/territories; West Australia, North Australia, South Australia, and New South Wales. The blank interior is filled with tables listing county names. There are 74 counties in New South Wales, 26 in West Australia and 24 in Victoria. Drawn and engraved by J. Rapkin. Surrounded by a delicately engraved decorative border.
