This fascinating engraving provides historical information in tabular form. This, the second plate in the series of four, shows a warrior king with flowing robes and his regal and martial trophies. His breastplate, shirt and legs are covered with text listing European kings from the 1st to the 17th century. To the left are twelve large armorials or coats-of-arms with Germany at top.

References: Tooley (MCC-1) #36.

Condition: B+

Beautiful, dark impression and good color. The image is fine but there are two short marginal splits at right along centerfold, closed on verso with a paper repair. Margin at right is very close to the neatline, as issued.
