This uncommon and interesting map shows the entire Mediterranean, but focuses on the Middle East. The map describes the dispersal of humanity after the fall of the Tower of Babel. Two large insets detail Mesopotamia and Babylonia, and the Holy Land. The map is filled with ancient place names.

Issued folding, now flattened. Some damp stains in the upper margin and slight toning on a couple of folds.
