The finely executed stone lithograph was drawn and published by L.R. Burleigh from Troy New York. The small town is well shown and is bounded in the background by the Susquehanna River and rolling hills beyond. Excellent detail with every building individually noted to include their windows. All streets are delineated and named. The legend further identifies 14 buildings, schools, churches and business. Although a small town, there are two separate rail stations serving the four rails and three trains converging on the town. This is a rare view with only the LOC example located.

References: Reps #2895.

Condition: B+

Visually very nice. A paper split due to the thick paper is well closed on verso, and two short closed tears in right margin. The image and impression are fine.
