This rarely seen issue features the Independent Republic of Texas with the long stove-pipe border extending into the Rocky Mountains to about the 40th Parallel. It also shows a huge Oregon Territory that illustrates the boundary disagreement between the United States and Great Britain commonly knows as Fifty-four Forty or Fight. Mexico is in control of California and the Southwest. Keyboard style border surrounds. Blank verso. There is only one sales record for this uncommon map in the Jolly Price Record.
