Incredibly decorative engraving of St. Helena. Three elevations provide perspective of the rugged topography. The ocean contains several Portuguese ships. The sheet is then richly embellished with three beautiful compass roses, two elaborate cartouches and angel holding armillary sphere. Beautifully engraved by Baptista a Doetechum.

Dark impression and lovely later color. Issued folding, now flattened with professional repair on a 6" long binding tear at left, and a 2" tear at bottom. The tears are expertly closed and are not obtrusive and barely visible.
