This map is beautifully and finely engraved in the style of German mapmakers of the period. In the U.S. all of the western and central states and territories are delineated and named. There is excellent detail throughout including major towns, watershed and topography. Keyboard style border and fancy lettering in title.

Near fine example less one spot at left margin. The hand coloring is exceptionally well applied using a subtle pallet.
