This is the title page from a complete edition of the works of Samuel Bochart that was published in Leiden by Bornelius Boutesteyn and Samuel Luchtmans. Samuel Bochart was a French Biblical scholar in the seventeenth century. This interesting scene shows Adam with the many animals in the Garden of Eden. A small inset in a scroll above the scene shows a scholar reclining in front of the Tower of Babel.
