This is an uncommon title page from a history of the important voyages of English explorers since 1558. The title is flanked by portraits of Sir Thomas Cavendish, Martin Frobisher, Sir Walter Rawleigh, and John Hawkins. The illustration below is a theme on many of Van der Aa's title pages; it shows the Earth being unveiled by allegorical figures.

Nice impression and pleasantly toned paper. There is a small abrasion in the bottom engraved panel that has some ink marks in it, else very good.
