This fine steel engraved map is centered on Turkey, extending from the Aegean Sea across Turkey to beyond Trabzon on the coast of the Black Sea. Good detail on Cyprus and Rhodes. The very beautifully rendered vignettes of Mount Olympus, Rhodes, and two Turks were drawn by H. Warren and engraved by J.H. Kernot. Surrounded by an Turkish-themed border. A very handsome map.

Fine original hand color in outline. The margins are more generous than often seen on Tallis' maps.
