This is an updated version of Delisle's great map of 1723 with significant improvements in the northeast coast, reflecting the surveys of Vitus Bering between 1725 and 1749. The northeast tip of the continent is shown in an inset. An extraordinary number of islands are shown throughout the Western Pacific and East Indies.

Crisp impression and original color with some minor soil in margins and a repaired, marginal fold separation at bottom.
