Boldly engraved and well colored chart of the Caribbean, the southern United States, Central America and the northern coast of South America. Florida consists only of the peninsula, with the southern portion shown as a jumble of large islands, named Bay del Spiritu Santo. Texas is named as the "New Kingdom of Leon". The map is filled with interesting information, with many forts and towns named, and shipping routes shown. A large map of the Caribbean that was engraved by Thomas Kitchin.
