This copper engraved chart includes Florida and extends to show all of the Windward Islands, plus much of Mexico and Central America. Arrows indicate the trade winds. Dashed lines indicate the track of the Spanish Galleons and the flotilla from Vera Cruz to Havana. This handsome chart is embellished with a decorative rococo-style cartouche and compass rose. Still bound in the original and complete Gentleman's Magazine, February 1762, with related article.
