This is an uncommon, folding plan of Providence prepared under the direction of C.E. Paine, City Engineer, and published by Sampson, Davenport, & Co. It provides an excellent view of all the streets, turnpikes, railroads, hospitals, racetracks, cemeteries, parks, etc. It is colored by ward and includes the city seal in the cartouche.

Left edge partially remargined with facsimile of neatline. Some minor toning along folds with a few scattered spots. Issued folding, lacking any covers.
