This annual report by the Coast Survey is complete and contains thirty folding charts and sketches. The surveys covered by this report include the Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific Coasts. Important charts include Casco Bay, Boston Harbor, Nantucket Shoals, Hudson River, Chesapeake Bay and estuaries, Port Royal, Key West to Mississippi River, Coast of California, and Washington Sound. Complete, xiii, 218 pages. Hardbound in original embossed cloth boards with gilt titles. A very nice collection of charts.
Text generally good with some toning at edges. Most of the maps have binding tears, intersection fold separations, a couple with some minor loss. Usual toning at the folds. Binding has significant shelf wear and sunning on spine.
