This beautiful copper engraved map portrays scenes from the Bible. A hemisphere depicting the Old World is suspended above a scene of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, which is teeming with life. At the bottom, scenes from the Bible include: Eve offering the apple to Adam, Noah's Ark, Abraham offering his son, Jonah and the whale, the birth of Christ, The Last Supper, and the Crucifixion, centered is Gods Lamb (John 1:36).
