Uncommon map of Prussia that includes Kaliningrad and parts of Poland and Lithuania. A most handsome chart with a large inset bird's-eye view of Konigsberg with legend that identifies 13 important buildings. Embellished with five ships in the Baltic and a decorative title cartouche. Some cities have original red underlining. Engraved by Abraham Goos and dated 1630 as noted at lower left.
Very early and crisp impression. Professionally laid on backing paper to support long fold separation running along bottom.
