Very fine example of this matching two volume set. Volume I contains the maps and Volume two contains matching text and descriptions to the maps in 148 pages. Volume I contains 34 full-page maps covering the entire world with an index at back. Hardbound in cloth with beautiful and elaborate pictorial title embossed and printed in gilt, red, green and blue. Uncommon to see both volumes for this quarto atlas.

Covers sunned and a little soiled. Maps are fine with all being clean and bright with excellent color.
