Copper engraved chart that details the Balearic islands of Mallorca, Minorca, and with Ibiza and Formentera, here called the Pytuisae Islands. Includes the Gulf of Valencia and the cities of Denia, Tarragona, Gandia, Valencia, and the fortified city of Tortosa. Extends to show Barcelona in the extreme north. Embellished with rhumb lines, two galleys, compass roses, two coats-of-arms and two cartouches.

Condition: B

Crisp impression on hand laid paper with wide margins. Small pin-holes only visible when held to the light. Marginal tears and roughness at bottom and right. Faint damp stain in blank margin.
