Victor Levasseur's "Atlas National Illustre" and "Atlas Universel Illustre" are among the last decorative atlases published. The maps are all lavishly illustrated with scenes of the countryside, products and activities indigenous to the region.

Nice set of decorative 19th century maps - each including Paris and surrounded by scenes depicting the commerce and history of the region: Dept. de Seine et Oise [1869]; Dept. de la Seine [1869]; Dept. de la Seine [1845]; Dept. de Seine [1869] et Oise and France in 1846.
