A superb chart of the river from Bristol to the coast. The large title cartouche is flanked by a river god and goddess and features a large sailing ship passing through the narrow Clifton Gorge. Numerous ships are shown in the Severn Estuary where a compass rose oriented the chart with north in the bottom right corner. Second state with the dedication cartouche to Robert Yate, Mayor of Bristol.

Printed on two joined sheets, with vertical folds, as issued. Folds professionally reinforced. A couple of extraneous creases with minor surface soil, still overall very good.
