Finely engraved steel plate map surrounded with vignettes and decorative border. Map extends to the Ural Mountains in Russia, and includes Iceland, all of Scandinavia, and the Black and the Caspian Seas and Caucasus region. The well rendered vignettes include Seal Hunting, Lapland Travelers (reindeer), Russian Travelers, Arab & Camel, and the Slave Market. The decorative border and vignettes are uncolored, as issued.
